Control of grid side converter in wind power based PMSG with PLL method

Wind power is one of the most promising renewable energy sources. Due to a constantly increasing penetration rate in grids order comply with interconnection requirements. This article targets impact permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) which subject attention due low cost and maintenance requirements, driven by wind turbine necessary electronic converters that allow turbines operate at variable speed, connected grid for generation more efficiently phase-locked loop (PLL) method synchronize it. Thus, proposed control technicals are based on vector (VC) achieve maximum point tracking (MPPT), keep DC link voltage constant, speed current side PMSG provides controllability reactive supplied network. Therefore, response PLL analyzed simulation results dynamic model system developed Matlab / Simulink. The study exhibit excellent performance high robustness, improving efficiency 98.72%.
